Teachers:

I have practiced Buddhism for about 10 years,
gradually increasing focus and devotion as I have renounced the afflictive thoughts and emotions that inhibit immersion in the Dharma stream. I have studied briefly with Gen Kelsang Norden,
a Buddhist nun who teaches here in Philadelphia as representative of the New Kadampa tradition( Menlha Buddhist center). These days I am studying with a group called Philadelphia Insight( also known as "dharma punx"),
led by Doug Achtert.www.philadelphiainsight.org. 11 months ago I was inspired to begin the practice of Hatha Yoga by Holly,
who can be found at www.dointheyoga.blogspot.com,
and I have added the practices of Jnana and Bhakti Yoga which are intertwined with my Buddhist practice.

I listen to the Radio,
WRTI,
which has Classical and Jazz Programming,
